Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa is a full time missionary. He has dedicated his life to serving the mission of Srila Prabhupada since 1981. He is the creative architect behind the magnificent structure of Sri Radha Krishna temple on the Hare Krishna Hill. It was designed and built under his guidance.
The special architecture of the temple with regard to the grandeur and elegance bears testimony to his engineering skills (a former IITian from Mumbai, India). The Akshaya Patra program initiated by him provides free mid-day meals for underprivileged children in Government schools in several states across India. Today, Akshaya Patra is the world’s largest non-governmental organization-run school meal program that feeds over 15 lakh children every day in 10 states.
In recognition of this outstanding service, Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa has been conferred the prestigious Padma Shri award by the Government of India. Currently, he is involved in the design and development of the Vrindavana Chandrodaya Mandir project, which is conceived by the devotees of ISKCON Bangalore. A unique, 210-metre-tall shrine for Lord Krishna, this is going to be the tallest temple in the world. This architectural marvel is being constructed in the holy land of Vrindavana. He has also been coaching devotees at the temple, and its affiliated centres on the different aspects of missionary activities related to direction and management of the temple.
Sri Madhu Pandit Dasa is a tall leader with more than three decades of experience in practicing Krishna Consciousness. His impeccable spiritual knowledge about Vedic texts is jaw-dropping.
